Applied Rapid Technologies Expands Paint and Finishing Operations Facility

FREDERICKSBURG, VA, August 3, 2007 -- Applied Rapid Technologies Corporation (ART), a leading provider of rapid prototyping and short-run production solutions adds additional 2,000 square feet of production space to its Fredericksburg, Virginia facility.

“It’s been just over a year and we have already outgrown our new facility we opened in 2006 due to increased paint and finishing service demand from our customers,” said Bruce LeMaster, ART president.

“We are thrilled to expand our facility to accommodate the increasing demand for custom paint and finish services for SL production parts and prototypes. With our new expansion, we will provide on a larger scale Chemical Agent Resistive Coatings (CARC), two-part polyurethane, and EMI/RFI shielding.”

SL: Supports removed and prototype lightly sanded on the down-facing surfaces to remove support stubble.
